Counselling Workshops and Groups

Starting a new semester, you may feel as though you need some support to manage stress when working on assignments, preparing for the exam period and maintaining a healthy study/life balance.

The following workshops and group sessions will provide strategies to help. Also look at the workshops offered by the Access and Inclusion team.

Pleasure Pathways: Harnessing Your Brain for Better Intimacy

This one-hour workshop aims to teach folks about the impact of distraction, disembodiment and self-doubt on sexuality.

Assertive Communication

Assertive communication helps us to express how we feel, and find win-win solutions where there is conflict. It can also help us become more self-aware and confident.

Self-care for Creative Brains

This  workshop will introduce creativity as a brain skill, with evidence from cognitive neuroscience research, explore why self-care is so important to soothe and motivate our creative brains and introduce practical self-care strategies to assist creative practice and training.
