Salesforce

Salesforce

Salesforce is an integrated platform that includes modules for sales, service, marketing, commerce, engagement, analytics, communities and productivity.

  • Salesforce Service Cloud is a CRM that supports our student and customer enquiry teams. It helps our students and customers get in touch with us via email support, live chat, and phone allowing them to connect with us on a variety of levels. The CRM helps us understand our customer needs and data and facilitates deeper customer development and engagement.
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud is a CRM that is used by teams responsible for engagement and recruitment, including Business Growth and Development, Strategic Relationships Management, International Office and International partnerships. The product helps them process leads and guide a potential customer or partner through a defined cycle. Features include Lead and Opportunity Management.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is a collection of communication and marketing functionality for Salesforce.  It is used by the Digital Marketing, Experience and Analytics Team, within Brand and Marketing, the Communications Centre, within Business Growth and Development and Business Support, within Student Administration for a range of functions including sending of bulk communications, system automation and automated communications.
  • Salesforce Experience Cloud is an online portal system that can be used to expose student and customer information. Experience Cloud is currently used to deliver the Current Students Portal, Academic Progression Platform as well as Ask Us.

Access

The Salesforce platform is comprised of a number of individual products with varying levels of security and access. Access is only granted to those who have direct responsibility within each product.

Support

Issues accessing the application should be directed to the IT Service Desk.
This includes issues such as:

  • the application is not responding; or
  • you are unable to access the application; or
  • or the application is presenting error messages.
