Result release dates

Final results are released to students on specific dates throughout the year.  On these dates, you will be able to view your results and progression statuses within SIMO. Your course status will also be updated to ‘Completed’ if you have met all of the requirements of your course for completion.

  • Progression Period 1 (including 241) - From Monday, 8th July 2024.
  • Progression Period 2 (including 24W) - From Thursday, 8th August 2024.
  • Progression Period 3 (including 242) - From Monday, 9th December 2024.
  • Progression Period 4 (including 2024 Summer School & 2023 Term 5) - From Thursday, 8th February 2024 (adjusted from Thursday, 15th published previously).  If your results are submitted after this date, your academic progression will be reviewed at your school's next monthly progression panel meeting.
  • Accelerated Progression Periods - Results are released on the Friday, the week prior to the commencement of the next scheduled accelerated period.

Results may be withheld for a few reasons, such as:

  1. you have an administrative encumbrance on your record that requires your immediate attention (i.e.: outstanding library fines, non-payment of your tuition fees etc.)  If this is the case, your results will be available shortly after clearance of the debt/return of items and the encumbrance has removed from your student record.
  2. you have not completed the Prescribed Modules, which are required to be completed during your first period of study. For more information, please refer to our Ask Us FAQ: What is a Prescribed Module?
  3. a final result for your unit has not yet been submitted by your School.  Queries should be directed, in the first instance, to your Unit Coordinator.  Alternatively, please contact the Student Hub for assistance.

If you have been granted a Deferred, Alternate or Supplementary Assessment/Examination, your results will generally be available to you in SIMO within two weeks following the completion of the assessment.  Please contact your Unit Coordinator if your result is not available after this time.
