International Cafe

Being an international student is an exciting opportunity – you get to build new friendships and amazing international contacts. But it can also be a little overwhelming.

ECU invites international students to come along, connect with fellow international students, the university and the city of Perth.

Get involved

From movie nights, tours and crafts workshops, to casual cafe catch-ups. All of our events are free!

Joondalup Campus

Join us every Monday from 1.30pm-2.30pm at Birra Bar for a free barista coffee, snacks, games and crafts. No need to register, just turn up!

  • The first international café at Birra Bar will be the 3rd of August -  save the date!

City Campus

We're still working hard to bring you more exciting events at City Campus this semester. If you want to be kept updated, make sure you sign up to our mailing list, which is linked below.

  • 28th of July 2026: Join us for our first International Cafe of Semester 2 with a Wellbeing and Yoga afternoon! Hear from the Psychological Counselling Support team on what services you can offer and take part in a FREE yoga class. Unwind afterwards with a complimentary afternoon tea.
