LinkedIn LearningLinkedIn Learning is an open online course provider. Video courses are taught by industry experts in software, creative, and business skills. Teachers can share links to up-to-date video courses that are business, creative or technology relevant to students in their learning and success in industry.

MS Teams

What is Teams?

MS Teams is free to all ECU students and allows you to chat with your classmates, collaborate in class teams, share resources and video call or attend live online lectures or tutorials.

How to get Teams?

Students can access the Office 365 suite, including Teams, through their student portal. Step by step instructions for installation and activation of Office 365.

PanoptoPanopto is a video capture service supported by ECU that is typically used for videos to support learning. Panopto provides a range of viewing enhancements for accessibility and to engage the learner with embedded tools such as discussion, notes, bookmarking and keyword search. Panopto can also be used to record and edit video or audio files for assessment.Visit the Panopto Support Resource page
PebblePad

PebblePad is the learning ePortfolio used by ECU. It is useful in the classroom because it allows students to take control of their own learning. PebblePad provides scaffolding to students, giving them skills that can be directly integrated into their working life.

TurnitinTurnitin is a text matching system that compares text in your assignment, in particular essays and reports, against a database of sources, including journals, websites, and other students’ submissions.  The lecturer will provide you with information if the assignment is a Turnitin assignment and instructions on how to submit it.Visit the Turnitin Support Resource page
ZoomZoom is another platform that your lecturers may use to conduct your online lectures or tutorials but is restricted to some schools. Zoom allows you to join a meeting from your desktop or mobile app so you can keep up with your classes no matter where you are.Visit the Zoom Support Resource page
