All consultations provided by the Student Health Service are strictly confidential.
Your medical record is a confidential document
It is the policy of this practice to maintain the security of your personal health information at all times and to ensure that your information is only available to authorised members of staff
The Student Health service has developed a policy that complies with privacy legislation and the National Privacy Principles.
You will be requested to read and sign a "General information form" at the time of your first consultation with Student Health Services Doctor or Nursing staff.
Comments and enquiries regarding the service can be directed to the Manager, Student Health Services.
Your rights
If you have a problem we would like to hear from you. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or receptionist. You may prefer to write to the Manager of the Student Health Services or use our suggestion box.
The health services take your concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. However in the circumstance where you may wish to take a matter further and feel the need to discuss this matter with an agency outside of the medical suite an appropriate contact is:
