Student Success

Student Success are here to assist you with a smooth transition to university and help you to stay on track with your studies so you reach your full potential at ECU. This includes:

  • Supporting study progress, health and wellbeing.
  • Assessing personal challenges and developing action plans to overcome them.
  • Providing referrals to specialist support services both in ECU and in the community.
  • For International students, providing guidance on living in Australia, extending your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and/or enrolment requirements as a student visa holder.

Managing Study and enrolment

International student visa holders  must strive, at all times, to complete their studies within the completion date as specified on their Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).

This means you are generally required to enrol in 60 credit points in each compulsory teaching period. (Semester 1 and Semester 2). If you are considering studying less than 60 credit points in a semester, you will need to have approval from a Student Success Advisor, before you withdraw from any units.

Read more about this process.

Enrolment advice: Student Success Advisors are unable to provide advice on unit enrolments. New commencing students can find advice on My Uni Start and continuing students can find advice in our re-enrolling guide.
