The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) provides Strategic Research Funding (SRF) towards membership of various research advocacy and peak bodies, research infrastructure and research collaborations where deemed to be of strategic value and relevance for the wider ECU Research Community. Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre (CSCRC)

Awarded $50m in Commonwealth funding in 2018 for a seven-year term, and headquartered at ECU Joondalup, the CSCRC is a vehicle for researchers to work with industry partners to solve pressing cyber security challenges.

SRF Funding requests for research organisations

Requests for Strategic Research Funding support for research organisations are considered by the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) on a case by case basis and are subject to funding availability at the time of request. Funding requests can be processed via this form.

Research Weekly

ECU staff are encouraged to access research news and opportunities via Research Weekly - a weekly-publication that provides timely information to the ECU research community on a range of research related topics.
