Reporting research outputs

Researchers are expected to publish and disseminate their research findings. This is an essential part of the research process and is required to inform other researchers, professional practitioners and the wider community. Outputs also form an important part of the suite of performance indicators.

Researchers are required to report their research outputs (publications and creative arts research outputs) via the Research Activity System (RAS) which is accessible from the Student and Staff Portal.

For more information about access and support visit the Research Activity System (RAS) website.

Research Administration Officers can also be contacted for assistance.

Open access of research

Outputs from RAS are regularly transferred into Research Online, which is the publicly accessible, permanent and searchable digital repository of research outputs produced by staff, postgraduate students and affiliated authors of Edith Cowan University. Other outputs can be deposited directly to the repository on a voluntary basis.
