Our services

Research Services provides support for researchers in a wide range of areas – from developing research ideas into projects, to negotiating research contracts and meeting ethics requirements.

Contract management

All research contracts are negotiated through Research Services to ensure researchers meet all requirements for the signing of these agreements. Research Services can assist with:

  • Research contracts;
  • Grant Agreements;
  • Letters of Agreement;
  • ECU Industry Collaboration contracts;
  • Intellectual Property Assignment Deeds;
  • Confidentiality Deeds of Agreement; and
  • Material Transfer Agreements.

Research ethics

All research projects need to meet research ethics requirements.

The Research Ethics Team assists staff and students to ensure that their research complies with guidelines and legislation, protects research participants and animals and encourages research that is, or will be, of benefit to the community.
