Research orientation

Whether you're a new ECU research staff member or you've been a staff member for an extended period, it's good to know that there is a range of support staff available throughout the University to assist you.

Sometimes it can be difficult to know who to talk to about specific requests. Listed below is information relevant to all ECU research staff.

e-Resource Booklet - A resource handbook for ECU researchers

The e-Resource Booklet provides information about the various service centres across ECU, outlining their key functions and providing up-to-date contact details to allow you to communicate with the relevant staff member. The e-Resource Booklet is available for download on the right-hand side of this page.

Research Weekly

Research Weekly is an Office of Research and Innovation e-newsletter published every Monday. It contains information relevant to all ECU research staff and students, including funding and award opportunities, research news, information about master classes, presentations and training workshops, and much more. To ensure you stay up-to-date with all research news and services, subscribe to Research Weekly.

You, Your Research and ECU - A research orientation event

You, Your Research and ECU is a research orientation initiative facilitated by the Office of Research and Innovation. The sessions are run bi-annually and provide ECU researchers with relevant information and the opportunity to meet representatives from a range of service centres and service centres across the University face-to-face.

It's recommended that all researchers attend the session at least once, particularly if new to the University. For more information contact Kerry Blowfield at k.blowfield@ecu.edu.au.
