Health and Wellness Program

ECU's health and wellness program, Live Life Longer, is open to all staff, including ongoing, part-time, casual and sessional.

Sign up now to the wellness portal and become a Live Life Longer ‘Legend’ wellness champion.You will:

  • learn more about your health with the online wellness assessment
  • receive monthly eHealthBytes (wellness emails), featuring handy health tips
  • get motivated with online lifestyle programs
  • search the medical encyclopedia for accurate, trustworthy information
  • have fun with recipes, quizzes, and polls

Become a wellness 'Legend'

Sign into the wellness portal to keep up to date with what’s happening in the program. What's involved in being a Legend? Be proactive about your health; complete your wellness assessment online; come to as many sessions as you can and encourage your colleagues to also take part. Let’s help each other enjoy every moment of life.

There is a wide range of physical, nutritional, mental and social wellness activities on campus and the majority are free. Check out what’s on this semester.

Regular activities

Fitting in wellness sessions at lunchtime can be a great way to create new healthy habits. Small changes can translate into long-term health benefits.

The wellness program includes:

  • free bi-annual health checks
  • nutrition info sessions and cooking demos
  • meditation, building resilience and mindfulness workshops
  • lunchtime fitness classes through ECU Sports
  • free flu vaccines
  • annual health and wellness expos with free massages and giveaways
