Managing your performance

ECU's annual planning and review process is required for all staff. It involves planning your goals for the year ahead and reviewing your achievements for the past year, aligning these with your area's operational plans and the University's strategic priorities.

ECU offers academic and professional staff a range of career options and pathways, along with development opportunities to support you in your career.

Researcher Professional Development Framework

ECU’s Researcher Professional Development Framework will help you plan and track your progress according your career stage and participate in professional learning, mentoring and other activities to help build your research capabilities. This Framework identifies the research capabilities required by a researcher and forms part of ECU’s People Capability Matrix to support academics in the annual MPS process.
