This page is an overview of your superannuation arrangements and options via UniSuper, the superfund ECU makes contributions to on your behalf as your employer.
You can restructure your salary by choosing to receive your salary as a combination of cash and approved fringe benefits that are paid out of your pre-tax salary.
On-Costs are the additional costs (above the annual salary) incurred in employing someone to fill a position or undertake a role. These costs include provision for Superannuation, Long Service Leave, Workers' Compensation and Payroll Tax. Business units are responsible for these costs and must budget accordingly.
To assist in establishing the On-Costs of a particular position, HR Services has developed an On-Cost Calculator. Please ensure you use the appropriate tab within the spreadsheet (Fixed Term & Ongoing or Casual Employees).
