ECU Strategic Research Centres are groups of researchers of sufficient scale centred around a research topic of strategic significance to the University. Centres produce above world-standard research with strong national and/or international academic recognition in their research field.
The ECU Strategic Research Centres Application Round 2023 aims to identify the highest performing research entities at ECU to be renewed or established as ECU Strategic Research Centres from 2024-2026. The Strategic Research Fund (SRF) will provide funding to each successful Centre of between $200,000 - $500,000 per annum to support the Centre to further grow in scale and excellence.
