Public Interest Disclosures

The University is committed to the aims and objectives of the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2003 (PID Act).  It recognises the value and importance of contributions of staff to enhance administrative and management practices and strongly supports disclosures being made by staff as to corrupt or other improper conduct. The University's Public  Interest Disclosure Procedures are drafted in accordance with the PID Act.

The Procedures aim to:

  • facilitate the disclosure of public interest information;
  • provide protection for those who make disclosures; and
  • provide protection for those who are the subject of a disclosure.

The University has Public Interest Disclosure Officers who receive and deal with Public Interest Disclosures. To make or discuss making a Public Interest Disclosure, please contact one of the following Public Interest Disclosure Officers:
