To support the responsible handling of personal information, the University has established a process to ensure privacy risks are consistently identified and managed whenever new or significant changed practices are introduced.
The University will undertake Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) for all high privacy impact initiatives.

If you have reason to believe there has been loss, unauthorised access, or unauthorised disclosure of Personal Information relating to ECU or its staff or students, you can make an Information Breach Notification by completing the following form:
A cybersecurity incident is an event involving unauthorised access to, or impairment of, university-related information and communication technology (ICT) assets, e.g. computers, computer data, or computer programs.
For more information, please refer to ECU’s Cyber Security Incident Response Procedure. If you have reason to believe there has been a cybersecurity incident, this can be reported via the ECU IT Service Desk.
