Gender equality in the workplace

ECU is required to report annually to Federal Government on its policies and strategies that promote gender equality.  The report also includes a workplace profile showing staff by occupation level and gender.

This is a requirement of the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012.

The 2025 report contains a snapshot of the number of staff employed by the university on 31 March 2025. The documents that constitute the 2025 report and are available as downloads, include:

  • Questionnaire
  • Public Report - containing workforce management statistics and workplace profile information

A full Gender Pay Gap report will be produced by Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) and made public via their website in early 2026.
