Staff Engagement Surveys give staff the opportunity to express their views about what it’s like to work at the University and help identify improvements to make ECU an even better place to work for everyone.
ECU works with an independent specialist external provider to deliver the survey on ECU's behalf. The Staff Engagement Survey is anonymous. ECU only receives collated results, and any individual responses are not able to be identified.
All ongoing and fixed term employees were invited to complete the survey, and this included staff who may have been on parental leave, long service leave or leave without pay. Casual and sessional staff weren't required to complete the survey this year.
For more information, download the FAQs or email staffsurvey@ecu.edu.au
What happens with the results?
ECU uses the results to inform strategic planning, benchmarking and to make continuous University-wide improvements.
Staff Engagement Survey Results
The 2024 ECU-wide survey results are available for staff to view online.
The surveys are conducted every two years. Results from the 2022 survey are available here.
