Open to higher degree by research and honours candidates, the SOAR sessions are workshops bringing research candidates together to promote discussion and skills training in a comfortable, dynamic environment.
At each session Peer Advisers present a topic, sharing their own knowledge and experience and this is followed by a group discussion. Recent topics have included:
SOAR sessions run regularly throughout the semester. Registration is required to attend and you can attend as many sessions as you like.
SOAR Sessions are normally advertised via email and the ECU Research Candidate facebook group.
If you are unable to attend a session that you are particularly interested in, you can book a one-to-one appointment with a Peer Adviser.
