Student support services

At ECU, we offer a variety of support services to help you along your research journey. You can access the Research Hub, the Library's Scholarly Communication and Collections Team, and a wide range of student services that support your ongoing health and wellbeing, engagement with the university and others, technology and research data needs, and staying connected after graduation. See below for further information.

The Research Hub is a central support network for HDR candidates at ECU. Here you will be provided with advice and support on academic and administrative issues related to your research degree, such as;

  • Individualised research student support
  • Understanding responsible conduct of research
  • Research skills training and resources
  • Graduate community development and engagement

ECU has a library located on Joondalup, Mount Lawley and Bunbury campuses where researchers can access print collections and a research-supportive space. We provide extended library information and research services via our online database collections and interactive communication platforms. Our librarians are available to meet with researchers on campus and online. Our digital repository Research Online features research outputs produced by staff and postgraduate candidates of Edith Cowan University.

The Scholarly Communication and Collections team provides a range of information resources to assist communication and performance monitoring of research outputs. Visit A Research Companion for information on one-to-one consultations, workshops and advice on research databases, information sourcing and referencing, managing your research data, publishing advice and promoting your research.
