Global Perspectives

Internationalising the curriculum through global perspectives ensures that the student experience celebrates cultural diversity, is culturally inclusive, and promotes cultural integration. The cultural and linguistic diversity of ECU students and staff provide opportunities to enhance the quality of students’ learning experiences.

Internationalisation of the curriculum is supported through:

  • learning experiences and assessments that model inclusive principles;
  • providing opportunities for experiential learning
  • including resources which have diverse authorship and cultural origin and, where appropriate, optimise the development of global perspectives.


This resource is designed to assist you with incorporating global perspectives in your course or unit and will support you in developing your current knowledge in this area. The resource provides both background information as well as practical support for internationalising the curriculum.
