Social Media Call for Research Participants Request

This form should be used to request a paid social media post to help recruit participants for a research study on ECU’s centrally maintained social media channels. The purpose of this content will be to target a specific audience and, as such, will be posted as a dark post. Unlike boosted and organic posts, dark posts will not appear on ECU’s social media timeline or in the feeds of ECU’s followers. Instead, dark posts appear as sponsored content in the feeds of users you’re specifically targeting. The Growth, Engagement and Marketing Digital team may amend the copy and/or suggest new imagery. Briefs with no collateral (links, images or proposed copy) will not be progressed. If you are unsure, please contact the Digital team at corporatedigital@ecu.edu.au.

The social teams needs to link the post to a news story created under the news section of their School website (by their school web author), outlining objectives of the study, why they need participants, key criteria for participants and confirmation the study has been approved by the research ethics committee

Depending upon audience size and duration of the recruitment period (may be more if audience is large)
