Social Media Call for Research Participants Request

This form should be used to request a paid social media post to help recruit participants for a research study.  If progressed, the post will be published on one of ECU’s main centrally maintained social media channels. The Brand and Marketing Social team may amend the copy and/or suggest new imagery to ensure all posts fit within ECU’s social media content strategy. If amends are required, the social media team will speak with the requestor directly. Briefs with no collateral (links/ images or proposed copy) will be not be progressed. Include details key demographics of age, gender, socio-economic group, plus geographical if applicable (e.g. SW)

The social teams needs to link the post to a news story created under the news section of their School website (by their school web author), outlining objectives of the study, why they need participants, key criteria for participants and confirmation the study has been approved by the research ethics committee

In SharePoint use the “Share to People in Edith Cowan University” setting when sharing.

Budget approval

Depending upon audience size and duration of the recruitment period (may be more if audience is large)

Upload written approval (ie. email thread) from the client for use of their Flex code (BAM only).
