Brand and Marketing comprises four teams.

Corporate Relations

The Corporate Relations team is responsible for media relations and internal communication.
This includes:

  • media inquiries and press releases
  • internal communications, newsletters and ECU news items
  • public relations and media strategy

Corporate Events

The Corporate Events team is responsible for organising and running major ECU events and seeking opportunities to engage with the community through events. This includes:

  • ECU open days and public lectures
  • graduation ceremonies and alumni events
  • new building or facility openings

Brand, Marketing and Creative Services

The Marketing team provides specialist capability across the areas of design, content creation, including copywriting, videography and photography, and sponsorships. This includes:

  • print and campaign advertising and brochures
  • ECU images, video production, printing, copying and graphic design
  • approvals for the use of the ECU logo
  • management of ECU's many sponsorship activities

Digital Marketing and Analytics

The Digital Marketing and Analytics team manages future students’ web initiatives, including search engine optimisation and marketing, web design and support of the ECU WebCMS, social media, digital marketing campaigns, website analytics and conversion tagging. This includes:

  • leadership on social media practice and digital marketing opportunities
  • managing social media for prospective students and content for the and websites
  • providing assistance with analytics and website tracking
  • ensuring consistency of design, content and accessibility of ECU’s web domain
  • supporting and training the university network of web authors
  • developing and reviewing web-related policies and guidelines
