Event management

Part of Brand and Marketing, the Corporate Events team is responsible for organising and managing key ECU events, such as open days, graduation ceremonies and alumni events, and for supporting school and other events.

Event management includes:

  • venue management
  • guest lists and invitations
  • catering
  • entertainment
  • risk management and logistics
  • protocols
  • participant feedback

The team's activities have a major impact on students and staff, as well as the public’s perceptions of ECU.

Support for schools and professional services

If your school or professional service team is looking to hold an event, either on or off campus, the Corporate Events team can provide advice and assistance in line with ECU’s Corporate Events support guidelines.

Events checklist

The Corporate Events Office has compiled a comprehensive checklist to support ECU events, including templates, spreadsheets, forms and protocols. The checklist and supporting documents can be downloaded from the Event checklist page.

Engagement opportunities

The Corporate Events team is always looking for opportunities to engage with the local community, including businesses and government agencies, through participation in events or activities.
