Work Integrated Learning (WIL) refers to coursework students are undertaking, and are being assessed on, authentic activities through engagement with industry and community partners as a formal component of their degree studies. WIL experiences allow students to develop and apply the knowledge and practical skills developed in the classroom in a way that is directly relevant to their area of study. WIL activities can take place on practical placements, as projects or in the classroom.
