Airline Club Memberships

ECU has a corporate membership scheme with both Qantas and Virgin Australia.

  • Any ECU staff member can join ECU's Corporate Memberships Scheme.
  • The University may fund Qantas Club memberships for Senior Executives and other staff who travel frequently; subject to approval by the Senior Executive/Executive Dean/Dean/Director.
  • Personal lounge memberships for both Qantas and Virgin Australia can be purchased at ECU corporate membership rates by contacting travelrequests@ecu.edu.au.
  • As long as the frequent flyer membership fee is paid by the staff member or forms part of their employment conditions, then the accrual and use of frequent flyer points is a personal arrangement between the employee and the frequent flyer program.

Staff may choose to salary sacrifice their personally paid membership. For further details refer to See Also.
