Sourcing images

The Marketing and Communications Services Centre manages a library of images suitable for use in online and printed publications.

These approved images have been carefully selected to fit with the ECU brand and corporate style guidelines.

Images are only available for staff to support ECU-related communication activities; they cannot be supplied to students.

To find out more, please read our Image Guidelines.

To request an image

Contact our Senior Online Design Coordinator or your designated Account Manager and let us know:

  • the CD number;
  • the image reference number; and
  • your intended use, e.g. printed brochure or banner, web page, etc.

Place a line break between CDs and a comma between image names. For example:

  • Usage: Print
  • CD 3: EV114-001, EV114-025
  • CD 7: P3312028

Look through our image gallery to make your selection/s.

Review our gallery

Images are available under a range of chronologically ordered themes on CDs.

Whole CDs cannot be supplied, only selected images from CDs.

If you're looking for an image we've used in an ECU news item, please contact Corporate Communications. These images aren't added to our gallery as they may not be appropriate for ongoing use.

Add to our gallery

If you have a selection of images that you think may be suitable to add to our library, please contact the Senior Online Design Coordinator.

Taking your own photos

If you plan to take promotional photos (or video) featuring staff or students, you’ll need them to sign a Talent Release Form to enable ECU to print and/or publish the material.

The Office of Legal Services provide talent release forms for different situations; the forms can be downloaded from the Legal Forms and Notices webpage.
