Organising corporate events

Part of the Marketing and Communications Services Centre, the Corporate Events team is responsible for organising and managing key ECU events, such as open days, graduation ceremonies and alumni events, and for supporting faculty and centre events.

Event management includes:

  • venue management;
  • guest lists and invitations;
  • catering;
  • entertainment;
  • risk management and logistics;
  • protocols; and
  • participant feedback

The team's activities have a major impact on students and staff, as well as the public’s perceptions of ECU.

Support for faculties and centres

If your faculty, school or centre is looking to hold an event, either on or off campus, the Corporate Events team can provide advice and assistance in line with ECU’s Corporate Events support guidelines.

Engagement opportunities

The Corporate Events team is always looking for opportunities to engage with the local community, including businesses and government agencies, through participation in events or activities.

If you identify an opportunity to promote ECU through an event, please contact the Corporate Events Manager to discuss.
