Learning and teaching grants are now available to support activities related to a range of areas that have been identified as strategic priorities at ECU.
Sponsored by the Office of the Pro Vice Chancellor Equity and Indigenous and the Centre for Learning and Teaching, there are three categories of grants: Infusing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Content and Perspectives; Inclusive Practices; and Career Development Learning. The grants are for small or seed projects (up to $2,000); projects building on previous projects (up to $2,000); and researching current practice (up to $2,000). All lead applicants will need to first complete the associated micro-credential for the chosen category.
Funds allocated under this scheme will be directed to a School or Centre account.
All staff (academic and professional) are eligible to apply, either as teams or individuals, providing they have the support of relevant ADTL (for applications from School) or Line Manager (for applications led by Service Centres). These grants are designed to encourage the adoption of a collaborative approach, working with relevant service centre staff – for example Centre for Learning and Teaching (Learning Advisers, Learning Designers, Learning Technologies staff), Kurongkurl Katitjin, Library, Student Life (Career Advisers, Counsellors) etc.
