The CreatorsLAB is ECU’s new innovation studio where creative practice, experiential design, and technology combine to explore ideas and unlock opportunities

Located on the ground floor on the corner of Wellington Street and Yagan Square Mall, this dynamic space brings together advanced technology, flexible design, and hands-on learning to enable ideation, collaboration, basic prototyping, and the showcasing of ideas.

Please note that is not an events and functions space available to hire or book. If you have an idea for an activation that aligns with our mission, please submit it via our Ideas Capture Form.

Entrepreneurship can be as rewarding as it is risky. So what sets successful founders apart, and how can we apply those qualities to our own careers?

Join ECU School of Business and Law’s Dr Geremy Farr-Wharton for an engaging Coffee n Think session exploring the ‘Big 5’ personality traits associated with entrepreneurial success, and how developing these qualities can benefit innovators, entrepreneurs and employees alike.

Turning Knowledge into Opportunity: Pathways for Innovation

You've got a great idea so where to from here?

Join Edith Cowan University (ECU) and the Centre for Entrepreneurial Research and Innovation (CERI) at ECU’s new creative innovation studio, CreatorsLAB, to explore the pathways, opportunities and challenges of turning innovative ideas into successful ventures.

Hear from ECU academics, entrepreneurs and CERI experts as they share practical insights, lessons learned and opportunities to develop your ideas, commercialise research and build a career in innovation.

Professor Paulo de Souza, ECU’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), will open the evening with ECU’s vision for research and innovation, followed by a panel discussion led by Associate Professor Suku Sukunesan.

Open to ECU students, staff and alumni, and CERI program alumni.

- Discover how to develop your innovation or research for commercial impact at ECU and CERI
- Find out what programs and opportunities exist to support your career at both organisations
- Connect with like-minded individuals passionate about creating real-world change through research, entrepreneurship and innovation
