CreatorsLAB

The CreatorsLAB is ECU’s new innovation studio where creative practice, experiential design and technology combine to explore ideas and unlock opportunities.

Located on the ground floor on the corner of Wellington Street and Yagan Square Mall, this dynamic space brings together advanced technology, flexible design, and hands-on learning to enable ideation, basic prototyping, and the showcasing of ideas.

What can I do there?

Be the first to discover the CreatorsLAB through our Excite Program, the first phase of activation for the space. From learning how to build with agentic AI, to immersive experience demonstrations, CreatorsLAB activities are open to ECU staff and students from any discipline - no experience required.

Watch what happens when diverse minds come together to create MAGIC!

This fun, high-energy workshop helps ECU students and staff learn how to collaborate in cross-disciplinary teams to develop early-stage ideas with creative, practical, social or cultural potential.

Working in small teams, participants will explore new opportunities, consider who will be impacted by that opportunity being realised, what form it could take, and how it could begin to evolve.

The session concludes with each team pitching their concept to the group using the infamous Gaddie structure whilst discovering more about how the CreatorsLAB can take your idea to the next level.
