Term of office: 23 May 2025 to 22 May 2028
NOTICE OF ELECTION
Following the call for nominations for the election of a “non-academic (Professional) staff member” to the University Council, eight (8) valid nominations were received before the nominations closed on 5 May 2025. An election will therefore be conducted to determine which candidate will serve on University Council for a three-year term commencing 23 May 2025 and concluding on 22 May 2028.

Voting will begin at 11:00am on Thursday 8 May 2025 and close at 5.00pm on Thursday 22 May 2025.
Voting Instructions
The election will be conducted using the electronic voting system BigPulse.
Non-Academic (Professional) staff members who are eligible to vote in this election will receive an email with a unique voting link to access the online ballot paper. Please check your junk mail folder if you cannot find this email.
Once you have logged into BigPulse you will be able to vote in the election. The list of candidates will appear in a random order, along with their supporting statements and photographs.
Counting of votes
Votes will be counted as soon as practicable after the voting period ends.
The result of the election will be declared by the Returning Officer on Friday 23 May 2025.
