International Business Operations

International Business Operations (formerly International Partnerships) is responsible for the recruitment of international students to ECU.

We manage relationships with over 300 international education agencies, partners and onshore Australian pathway institutions to drive international student commencements to ECU. We provide strategic advice to the Deputy Vice Chancellor International and university executive to inform international strategy at ECU.

Key roles:

  • Account management of ECU education agents;
  • Contract management, review and renewal of Education Agent Agreements;
    • Maintenance of ECU's agent data in PRISMS, Callista and Salesforce;
  • Providing strategic advice in relation to ECU's international strategy;
  • Scoping and implementation of international scholarships;
  • Ensuring ECU's compliance with the ESOS Act 2000 and National Code of Practice in regard to international student recruitment activities;
  • Training and guidance to internal ECU business areas in regard to international student recruitment;
  • Management of ECU's Austrade MIP, StudyPerth and International Education Association of Australia (IEAA) subscriptions;
  • Conducting international marketing activities and communications; to promote ECU in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
    • Liaise with International Directors of Schools to align international visions and strategies.
