WA Mental Health Week is an opportunity to bring awareness to mental health and wellbeing.
Mental Health Week in WA begins on the 5 October and this year’s theme: Empowering communities, thriving workforces: a journey towards investing in our mental health is a timely reminder for everyone in the ECU community to be aware of, and make use of, the many support services available.
This year's theme also prompts us to consider how looking after your mental health, and being considerate of your colleagues' needs too, is something you need to build into your career planning and work practices.
Various activities will be run by different teams across ECU campuses for staff and students, to give everyone a chance to talk openly about mental health in a supportive community.
