WA Mental Health Week is celebrated from 7-14 October and the ECU community is hosting a range of different activities and treats to support and provide opportunity to address and highlight its importance.

With this year’s theme being, ‘Mind. Body. Environment’ it’s the perfect time to think about how you incorporate strategies for good mental health into your life and approach to studying.

Join us on Campus for ‘Donut Worry’

Hosted by ECU Guild from 11.00am-1.00pm on Monday 9 October, outside building 32 for free donuts, a bookstall and chill out games.

Join us online for an inspiring seminar

To raise awareness and recognise the importance of caring for yourself and others mental wellbeing, ECU are welcoming back Jake and Graydon from The Empowered Project.

They will be presenting an hour-long online workshop on resilience, self-empowerment, and courage to help you take charge of any stress, anxiety or fear you may have. This is especially relevant as we head towards the exams season.

Attendees will receive a certificate acknowledging their participation in this Mental Health Week workshop.

Tuesday 10 October, 11.30am - 12.30pm (AWST)

Now more than ever, we recognize the value of taking care of "our body, mind, and environment."
