Ensure you’re fully prepared for the start of Semester by running through this quick checklist on how to access all the essential tools you’ll need.

Worried about getting lost on campus? Download some maps to navigate your way around.
Locations are described by their campus, building and floor and room number.
For example: JO31.440 would be Joondalup, Building 31, Room 440. As the room number starts with a 4, it'll be on the fourth floor. If you're having trouble finding a room, there are plenty of friendly faces to ask for help!
Canvas is the platform that gives you access to the learning materials for your course. Click here to find out how to login to Canvas.
Make sure to get your Student ID card and combined TransPerth SmartRider for discounted travel fees. Your card will be needed to access buildings, printers and other resources. Find out how to get one.
Find out how to get a parking permit. At the start of semester the university campus will be very busy. At the Joondalup Campus, the overflow parking in car park 20 on the corner of Grand Boulevard and Kendrew Crescent will also be available. All of the campuses are also easily accessible by public transport. Take a look at all the ways you can get to ECU.

The student portal is your gateway to all the different systems and tools you'll use while studying at ECU. Once you log in you can see the latest news, check your appointments and access Canvas.
