Opening hours for ECU services supporting future, current and graduating students will be limited over the Christmas-New Year break.
Please note we will be closed for phone enquiries and live chat from 5:00pm on Friday, 22 December 2023, returning to normal operating hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm weekdays from Tuesday, 2 January 2024. You can submit a domestic student or international student enquiry form online during this time and we will get back to you when we reopen in January.
The Future Student Engagements office at Joondalup, Mount Lawley and South West Campuses will be closed from 4:00pm on Friday, 22 December 2023, returning to normal business hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm weekdays across all campuses from Tuesday, 2 January 2024. You can submit a domestic student or international student enquiry form online during this time and we will get back to you when we reopen in January.
At all other times if you wish to contact our friendly Future Student Enquiries team you can get in touch via phone on 134 328, social media, live chat or submit a domestic student or international student enquiries form online.

ECU Health Service, Psychological Counselling Support, Student Success and Access and Inclusion close at 4:30pm on Friday, 22 December 2022 and will reopen at 8:30am on Tuesday, 2 January 2024.
ECU Out of Hours Crisis Line remains available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the holiday period.

Additionally, Student Hub, Student Success, ECU Health Service, Psychological Counselling Support will be closed from 12.00pm – 2.00pm on Friday 15 December for a staff function.
Campus Libraries are staffed from 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday during semester break, with the following exceptions:
All eLabs are accessible 24/7 during the holiday period for anyone with an access card.
The Corporate Events Office will be closed at 4:30pm on Friday, 22 December 2023 and will reopen at 9:00am on Tuesday, 2 January 2024.
For all graduation-related queries during the closure period, please email the Corporate Events Office at graduations@ecu.edu.au and we will respond on Tuesday, 2 January 2024.
Graduation registration closes at midnight (12:00am) on Sunday, 7 January 2024. Late registrations will not be accepted. Emails sent before this time will be accepted.
Most campus food, beverage and retail outlets will be closed from Saturday, 23 December 2023 to Sunday, 7 January 2024 inclusive.

Most outlets are operating on amended trading hours throughout the period of November 2023 to February 2024. Please visit the Digital and Campus Services Knowledge Base for more information.
Security officers will continue to be on 24-hour duty on campus and can be contacted on (08) 6304 3333 (extension 3333 for internal calls). The maintenance help desk will be operational on extension 5554 throughout the break.
Security can also be contacted at any time through the ECU safety app, Nowforce.
Only staff and students with approved swipe card access will be able to enter university buildings from 5:00pm on Friday, 22 December 2023 until 8:30am on Tuesday, 2 January 2024. The exception being Friday, 29 December 2023 which will be a normal working day.
While staff can use swipe card to access during the break, please contact Security to advise them of your presence.
The IT Service Desk will close at 6:00pm on Friday, 22 December 2023.
The IT Service Desk will be open from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday, 23 December and Sunday, 24 December.
From Monday, 25 December to Thursday, 28 December, the IT Service Desk will be closed.
The IT Service Desk will be open on Friday, 29 December from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday, 30 December and Sunday 31 December, from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
On New Year's Day (1 January 2024), the IT Service Desk will be closed and will reopen and resume normal business hours on Tuesday 2 January 2024.

The University will return to normal business hours for all services commencing Tuesday, 2 January 2024.
