There are a number of ways you can get to Joondalup Campus.
ECU encourages staff and students to consider the planet when travelling to and from our campuses. Please consider public transport, cycling or carpooling.
Download our Active Transport guide for more information.
The nearest station is Joondalup, on the Perth-Joondalup line. The station is an eight minute walk from campus.
Alternatively, Transperth operates a free CAT bus service from Joondalup train station, stopping at the library (building 31), student housing and the Police Academy shared road.
For detailed train timetables, see the Transperth website.
We have a range of facilities for cyclists, joggers and walkers. Our end-of-trip facilities include showers, change rooms, ironing facilities (JO Building 1 only) and lockers.
Undercover bike storage is available on campus, as well as U-rails outside many of our buildings. Joondalup Buildings 1 and 22 have secure swipe access bike cages.
Bicycles can be taken on trains, but there are restrictions during peak periods. See the Transperth website for more information.
For comprehensive bike maps for cycling around metropolitan Perth, refer to the Transport WA website.
Free parking is available in designated areas for motorcycles and scooters. The campus also provides undercover motorcycle parking for staff.
The Joondalup Campus is situated at the intersection of Joondalup Drive and Grand Boulevard. If travelling to ECU via the Mitchell Freeway, take the Hodges Drive exit.
We provide limited parking for staff, students and visitors. During semester the car parks and roads around the campus can be busy, so ensure you leave ample time for your journey.
Students and staff must purchase a permit to park on campus. Visit the Parking at ECU webpage for more information.
