Call for Participants: Artificial Intelligence, Financial Decisions and Your Future

The rising cost of living, challenges in  saving for housing, and uncertainty about  the future are shaping how we make  financial decisions every day. Many people  are turning to Artificial Intelligence (AI)  tools for guidance.

Can AI really help us navigate  trustworthy financial advice to  ease financial pressures? Researchers at ECU are exploring that question.

We want to hear your story. Your experiences, concerns, and  perspectives matter, and can help us  understand whether AI can meaningfully  support personal financial decision making in uncertain times.

Why your voice matters

  • Help research understand real  financial struggles people face  today.
  • Explore whether AI can genuinely support smarter financial choices.
  • Contribute to shaping future tools  that may assist individuals like you

Who can participate?

  • Aged 18 - 30.
  • Has used or considered using AI tools (e.g. Chat GTP or robo-advisors).
  • Has thoughts or experiences of managing money, saving, investment or financial planning.

What is involved?

  • Approximately a 15-20 minute interview.
  • Conducted via Microsoft Teams or in-person at either ECU City or Joondalup campuses.
  • A  safe and confidential space to share your experiences.
