You are invited to participate in an important research survey aimed at understanding the financial challenges faced by students and exploring the support services provided by your university to enhance students' financial well-being.

Understanding Financial Challenges Among Students and University Support Practices for Enhancing Financial Well-being

Purpose of the Study:
The purpose of this study is to gather insights into the financial experiences of university students, the impact of these experiences on your well-being and academic performance, and to identify ways in which the university can better support students facing financial obstacles.

What Your Participation Involves:
Participating in this study involves completing a brief online survey. The survey will ask about your experiences with financial challenges, your awareness and utilisation of university support services, and your overall well-being as a student. Your responses will be anonymous and confidential.

Who can participate?

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate students at an Australian university
  • Students who are willing to participate in surveys, interviews, or other data collection activities related to the study.
  • Students who agree to sharing personal information with the research team related to financial challenges and academic experiences.

By participating in this study, you will be contributing valuable information that can help improve support services for students facing financial difficulties at university. Your insights will help shape the future of student support initiatives on campus.

Confidentiality:
Your responses will be kept confidential, and no identifiable information will be publicly available. Anonymous data will be presented in summary format in any publications reports or presentations.  Only the researchers involved in this study will have access to the survey data, and all data including anything related to your identity will be stored securely in accordance with data protection regulations.
