Call for entries – 2024 Talus Prize

Entries are now open for the 2024 Talus Prize.
The School of Arts and Humanities’ undergraduate creative writing prize, the Talus, is open to all currently enrolled ECU undergraduate students across our three campuses.
This competition gives students the chance to explore their creative side and express themselves through the written word.
Cash and book prizes are awarded to the most outstanding works in two categories, ‘Prose’ and ‘Poetry’. Winners are announced later in the year and prizes will be awarded at the School’s annual Student Prize Ceremony in March of the following year.

First Prize

Highly Commended
- Book prize pack donated by Fremantle Press
How to enter
Submission close on Sunday, 27 October 2024 and students of all disciplines and skill levels are encouraged to enter.
