How would you like to spend a week of uni break travelling to a remote school in WA alongside other like-minded university students to tutor kids experiencing educational disadvantage?

Teach Learn Grow (TLG) is a not-for-profit organisation looking for volunteers to give back to the community and help support the education of children in lower socioeconomic areas. TLG is looking for “Program Volunteers” to participate in the free Rural Program and spend one week tutoring primary school students one-on-one in Mathematics and STEAM.

TLG programs are free to participate in, your food, transport and accommodation are all paid for, and you will be given training to assist with engaging and tutoring students in the lead-up to the program.

TLG has had over 5000 volunteers participate in their programs and 100% of volunteers would recommend their programs to a friend. Sign up for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, develop leadership skills, make new friends and get the most out of your university experience!

Semester 1 Rural Program dates:

Week One: 15 June - 22 June 2024

Week Two: 22 June - 29 June 2024

Meet like-minded individuals and make life-long memories, in this unique and rewarding experience.

Applications close 7 April 2024.

Find out more about the program and register at their website.
