We know that there is a lot of information surrounding the Voice to Parliament and ECU is committed to creating opportunities for learning and deeper discussion in our community.

You are invited to attend a Town Hall with one of Australia’s most prominent Aboriginal activists – Noel Pearson. Noel will be joined by ECU’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students, Equity and Indigenous) Professor Braden Hill for a conversation about the Voice to Parliament.

With the Voice to Parliament referendum approaching, this is an invaluable opportunity to hear from one of the key architects of the Voice.

Noel Pearson comes from the Guugu Yimidhirr community of Hopevale on South Eastern Cape York Peninsula. He is an Indigenous Australian, land rights activist and a history and law graduate of the University of Sydney.

Noel is a member of the From the Heart Advisory Group and the Voice to Parliament Referendum Working Group.

Tuesday 19 September, 12.00pm - 1.00pm
Edith Cowan's House, Joondalup Campus

Please register your attendance online by 9.00am Tuesday 19 September.
