If you’ve wandered through the libraries at the Joondalup, Mount Lawley, or South West campuses recently you may have noticed bright new banners or digital displays for the ECU City campus project.

The displays feature a QR code to the ECU City website where you can learn more about this exciting new campus, currently on track to welcome students in Semester 1, 2026.

On the ECU City website you will find:

  • Information on the Schools and services that are moving to ECU City
  • A link to follow the ECU City project on LinkedIn (a great place for construction updates and videos capturing the build)
  • A gallery of architectural renders that reveal the design of the 60,000 square-metre campus, which will span 11 super-levels over more than 8,000 square metres of Perth CBD land.

ECU City – did you know?

  • Once complete, ECU City will welcome around 10,000 students and staff
  • The campus will directly integrate with the Perth Busport, making it one of the most transport-connected universities in WA
  • ECU City will feature six state-of-the-art public performance venues, digital smart labs and Moot Court, arts and design studios and workshops, radio and film production studios, galleries and event spaces, world-class teaching and learning facilities, and much more
  • The project is being delivered in a partnership between the Australian Government, Western Australian Government, and Edith Cowan University, as part of the Perth City Deal.
