We are really excited to be celebrating Wear It Purple Day (WIPD) again this year to support LGBTIQA+ youth.
ECU is committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment where all LGBTIQA+ people can be themselves without fear of discrimination or prejudice.
We will be flying the rainbow pride flag all week to show our support for LGBTIQA+ communities and have heaps of ways you can get involved in WIPD celebrations:
On Fridays, we Wear Purple
Wear It Purple Day is on Friday 25 August so be sure to wear your best purple outfit on the day and to any events leading up to it.
Donate money to LGBTIQA+ Organisations
ECU will be raising money for LGBTIQA+ youth service Freedom Centre on our Perth campus events and Out South West at our South West campus event. You can also donate online here.
