The Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia (YACWA) is hosting it's 7th conference this June and ECU students can pick up discounted tickets!
fair.ground. 2023 is YACWA’s youth sector conference and will feature topical keynote speakers alongside a compelling program of presentations, workshops and activities sparking conversations, insights and growth for those who work for and with young people.
If you consider yourself a change-maker or future leader interested in advocacy, campaigning and making a difference in your community fair.ground 2023 is the place for you.
YACWA's conference is an unmissable chance to connect with peers from diverse contexts across the state in inspirational spaces where you can collectively ask questions and develop the system-wide solutions needed to enable better lives for young people.
There is a discount for ECU students on conference tickets - $350 (instead of $730 full price) for those not members of YACWA. YACWA offers free membership to people under 25, and for those over 25, a discount bundle is available with the purchase of a conference ticket which brings membership down by $20.
YACWA, with the support of Lotterywest, is also able to offer financial support to youth sector workers and young people aged 25 and under to attend fair.ground. 2023.
The support offered to selected attendees living regionally, and for people living in Perth who would not otherwise be able to attend. Applications for travel and attendance subsidies are open now.
