Due to the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II this event has been cancelled.

In celebration of Asian traditions and to welcome newly arrived International students, please join us for this cultural event.

Mooncake Festival is one of the big festivals of Asian traditions. It is also known as Mid-Autumn Festival, or "The Uniting Festival.

It is the time when family members get together in the breezy cool of Autumn, to view the moon at its brightest and fullest of the year, and to enjoy mooncakes, while children cheerfully take the Lanterns and sing songs.

In celebration of the traditions of Asian cultures, and to welcome the return of many International students after the relaxing of Australian borders, ECU International Office, in co-operation with the Chinese Student Association, have joyfully organised the Mooncake Festival at ECU Joondalup campus.

Activities will include Mooncake tasting, Chinese food tasting, learning traditional Chinese dance, Chinese Zither appreciation, brush calligraphy, decoupage, lantern making and a traditional tea ceremony.
