Kick off your career via the 2023 Treasury Graduate and Aboriginal Graduate programs

Graduate programs are great way to start your career. Graduate Programs recruit from a range of disciplines and offer a structured and comprehensive training experience.

They often involve rotations through various departments and graduates are well supported by a mentor, applications for programs starting in 2023 are being taken now.

One program worth checking out is the Treasury Graduate Program.

It is a structured program that runs for 18-months with three rotations. Throughout the course of rotations you will develop a broad overview and knowledge of the diverse areas of Treasury, be exposed to high profile State projects, build a range of professional networks with key stakeholders, and engage in further learning and development.

As a Graduate Officer, you will perform challenging and interesting work dealing with a wide range of issues and stakeholders within government and across various industries, with a potential rotation to the Western Australian Treasury Corporation.

Treasury also have a specialised program for Aboriginal graduates. This program includes one rotation their Aboriginal Affairs Coordination Unit.

Participants in this program have the opportunity to work on projects such as Native Title Agreements and Compensation, Aboriginal Justice and Mental Health Reform, the Close the Gap and Aboriginal Empowerment Strategy and the upcoming Aboriginal Cultural Centre.
