The Teaching Quality team in the Centre for Learning and Teaching supports the development of excellence in teaching at ECU by working collaboratively with individuals,course teaching teams, and whole Schools: we will support you to engage your students in active and meaningful learning in your blended and online delivery; we will help you learn and use innovative technology solutions that meet your pedagogical needs; and, we will assist you to implement curriculum changes in individual units and whole courses in ways that meet University policies and objectives.

Academic Developers support academic staff at all career levels to achieve teaching goals and improve teaching excellence. We coordinate and facilitate supportive and practical academic development sessions and programs open to individuals, course teaching teams, and Schools, that foster lifelong and holistic professional learning, growth, and change.
We acknowledge and promote teaching excellence and leadership through:
Learning Designers work with individual and groups of staff in an ongoing capacity to embed minor and major changes in curriculum. Our consultative approach ensures sustainability of practice: we listen, question, encourage, and advise staff so that you develop confidence and capability in your own approach to enhancing student learning through design and delivery. We help you identify needs, design and develop solutions, implement changes, and assess and review outcomes.
