How do you look after creative brains? A new workshop will help you build skills

The first workshop for 2021 from ECU's Counselling Service is 'Care to Create: Self-care for Creative Brains'. Sign up for the interactive workshop that is available both on campus and online.

Offered across campuses and via zoom, the following one-hour interactive workshop will:

  • Introduce creativity as a brain skill, with evidence from cognitive neuroscience research
  • Explore why self-care is so important to soothe and motivate our creative brains
  • Introduce practical self-care strategies to assist creative practice and training
  • Introduce practical self-care strategies to assist creative practice and training

ECU Counselling Service

ECU provides a free, confidential counselling service to all currently enrolled ECU students to address any personal issues that impact on your studies. Counsellors can provide you with emotional support, help you understand the problems you have and assist you to find new solutions and new ways of coping.
